I am a native son of North Carolina and extremely proud of my ancestral roots. I was born in Wilkes County. I have three great, great....grandfather who fought in the Revolutionary War and one great, great...granduncle, who according to history rode three houses into the ground on a ride to rally solider from the Kings Mountain area to come fight the British at Guilford Courthouse.
My family has served in nearly every war or conflict of any importance to this country.
I was baptized into the Christian faith and have membership at First Christian Church in Winston-Salem.
The value system that guides me each day comes form several sources. First from the upbringing my Mother and Father provided, from my religious belief, from my association with Free Masonry, Toastmasters International, and from the tenets of the Democratic Party.
